ESSCO's solid state stainless steel dancer replaces the traditional dancer
potentiometer in motor speed control applications where environmental conditions
are harsh. Operation is reliable over a wide temper-ature range in
wet and caustic areas. All electronics are sealed with no rubbing
or contact points to wear out or corrode. Two bearings support the
output shaft which is protected by an automotive seal
OPERATION:
Principle of operation is simple. An epoxy coated specially machined
iron disc is rotated on the dancer shaft. An inductive sensor changes
current at different points to give a linear output
SPECIFICATIONS:
Power supply: 12VDC @ 3mA
Standard Output: 2.5 to 7VDC with 120ø rotation.
Additional voltage ranges available.
